Smart Yachts visited AvA Yachts in Turkey

The Smart Yachts team recently paid a working visit to AvA Yachts, a shipyard established in 2005. The visit aimed to explore potential collaborations and gain insight into AvA Yachts' renowned design and construction processes.

AvA Yachts operates from a state-of-the-art facility in the Free Trade Zone of Antalya, a key city on the Mediterranean coast known for its tourism and yachting industry. Over the past 19 years, AvA Yachts has built a strong reputation for designing and engineering luxury superyachts, motor yachts, and sailing yachts, ranging from 24 to 50 meters in length.

During the visit, the Smart Yachts team observed the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each yacht. AvA Yachts constructs its vessels using steel hulls and aluminum superstructures in a 5,000 square meter enclosed yard. 

AvA Yachts approaches every project as a unique challenge, with experienced engineers and creative stylists collaborating closely with yacht owners. The team ensures that every detail, from the interior to the exterior, aligns with the owner’s vision. This attention to detail is a key factor in AvA Yachts' success.

The visit also highlighted AvA Yachts’ commitment to quality, with nearly all production items, including furniture, upholstery, mechanics, polished stainless steel accessories, and paint, manufactured in-house. This allows the company to maintain strict quality control and offer high-quality yachts at competitive prices.

One of the standout vessels by AvA Yachts currently in construction is the Kando85, a 25.7-meter new-build explorer yacht, which is now for sale through Smart Yachts.
